ABOUT IECO

About IECO

IECO was founded in 1977 by two Belgians, Michel Joseph Simon and Giovanni Taverna. It began as a company focused on engineering projects consultancy. Over the years, the founders were interested on banking and property security equipments. In 1983, was launched its first residential alarm system, called “Ranger”. In 1989, during an international security fair, IECO launched its first revolving door with metal detector named BANK GUNSTOP, an innovative product for that time. Different from bulletproof systems, the revolving door was a preventive option to avoid assaults, which attracted a lot of attention in the fair. Since then, the company’s main focus has been security access control.

Today, IECO has 38 years and covers up a complex of industries and services, making it possible to meet the national and international demand. Our factory is located in the metal-mechanic pole of Caxias do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

We have a modern line of products including revolving doors with metal detector (PGDM), semi-automatic interlocking doors, bank kiosks, revolving doors for hotels, facades for bank agencies, several metal detector models, besides developing customized projects upon request.
